Android Cell Phone Workshops
Has your smart phone outsmarted you? This class will teach you how to send/receive text messages, connect Bluetooth devices, and operate the basic functions of a smart phone, make your smartphone louder and easier to hear. And much more!!! Specifically designed for Android phones. Please Note: Classes are subject to change due to state/local COVID guidelines.

The basics on how to use the internet and what to use it for.

Tuesday, April 12th – Messaging and Texting
Basics on texting including lingo, tips, organization and inserting different types of media.

Tuesday, May 10th– Photo Management 1
Basics on how to manage and view photos on iPhone

Tuesday, May 15th – Photo Management 2
Photo management and organization with more advanced tips and tools

Disaster Preparedness Workshop
Disasters can be frightening. While we can’t stop them from happening, we can do our best to know what to do when we encounter one. The workshop will cover where to get accurate information during an emergency, steps you can take to prepare ahead of time including building your own emergency kit and emergency plan, what to do during an evacuation and what you can expect in an emergency shelter. The more prepared you are, the easier it will be to ensure that your needs are met during any type of disaster. Empower yourself and know what you an do!

7 Stages of Dementia
Part 1 of our 2 days series –This informative workshop outlines the seven stages of Dementia or Alzheimer’s. The information provided in this valuable session will help those who care for loved ones living with Dementia. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and will gain vital insight and information about various resources that are available.
