About
“TASTE OF THE FOOTHILLS” was our inaugural fundraiser. We structured the exciting event to give the Auburn community the best food and drink, best entertainment, and best silent auction prizes.

The Auburn Senior Center (ASC), aka Volunteers for the Multipurpose Senior Center is a 501(c)(3) providing adults age 50 and over with opportunities for socializing, activities, classes, and special events to remain active and age successfully. ASC has been a strong social system for the greater Auburn area since 1980. Our membership is 900 and growing. Currently 40% of our members use our programs and services on a weekly basis.  We are self-supporting and solely funded by the dues, fees, and donations we receive from our membership, fundraising, and sponsorships. We have not cost taxpayers a penny since we opened our doors.

ASC needs your help.  Providing affordable and accessible programs on an annual membership of only $25 coupled with high facility overhead, creates a fiscal environment that is unsustainable.  Because the Auburn community values the role of ASC and all the special services it provides our seniors, we launched our first major fundraiser in support of our mission.
