BIG DAY OF GIVING - WE'RE IN!
At the Auburn Senior Center, we enrich seniors' quality of life by supporting their independence and vitality while promoting healthy, successful aging. This year we urgently seek your support. While our doors are shut, we generate no income despite the fact we must continue paying rent. Your support on the May 7th Big Day of Giving will help ensure a Senior Center that will thrive and be there to support the seniors in our community.
The Auburn Senior Center has been a valuable asset in the community for over 40 years. Your donation will help sponsor a membership, activity, workshop or trip.
With more than 900 members, we provide affordable and accessible programs utilizing program fees, travel and tour operations, and donations through direct contributions and fundraisers. We do not receive tax money. Even with our tremendous success we still count on additional investment from the community. Please donate!

This year’s Big Day of Giving comes at a crucial time. The economic uncertainty caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has hurt nonprofits everywhere, making Big Day of Giving a critical opportunity for donors to--virtually--rally around the local organizations that make our area healthy and vibrant every day of the year.
What is Big Day of Giving?
Big Day of Giving is a once-annual 24-hour giving challenge to help local nonprofits raise funds to make a difference.
How can YOU help?
DONATE: You can donate to Auburn Senior Center by visiting our Big Day of Giving page on Thursday, May 7th, and making a gift with a credit or debit card. You can also mail a check payable to Auburn Senior Center prior to May 7th. Donations as little as $15 make a big difference, and your gifts can help us win some of the prizes that are up for grabs! Starting Monday, April 20th through Friday May 8th at 12noon you are free to donate. If you make a donation in a loved one’s honor, the website will send that person an email to let them know!
Did you know the CARES Act has expanded tax deductions for charitable giving? Those who take the standard deduction on 2020 returns can donate up to $300 to charities and claim a $300 tax break in addition to the standard deduction.
SHARE: Let your networks know that you support our cause by sharing our Facebook posts on your accounts, or by creating and sharing a fundraising campaign.
