Friends of the Auburn Library

With a membership of 600+, Friends of Auburn Library is an active library supporter.
Our Purpose:
  • To maintain an association of persons interested in books and libraries
  • To focus attention on library services, facilities, and needs
  • To stimulate gifts of service, books, endowments, and bequests
  • To provide community enrichment programs
We provide funding for:
  • Books and audio/visual material to add to the library collection
  • Provide full funding for children’s summer programs, such as Wild Things, Auburn Symphony, magicians, prizes in the reading program
  • Give financial support to PALS, the adult literacy program
  • Provide bus transportation for area schools’ 5th grade visits to the library to become acquainted with our library and to learn how to use it
  • Provide full funding for supplies used in the adult reading program
