Joanna Britt became interested in fitness through hiking, when she founded a local women’s group approximately 10 years ago. Continuing on her journey to discover fun fitness for those over 50, she began participating in Zumba and other strength-building classes and became a certified instructor in recent years.
She is the mother of 6 sons, grandmother of 8 and resides in Nevada County with her husband, Jim.
She is also the founder of Good Women International, an organization working in human trafficking prevention.

Chair Zumba is designed for older adults who want to keep moving, but can't stand for long periods of time. It modifies the Zumba Gold program to allow movement in the chair and focuses on coordination, range of motion and brain work.
This is a FUN 30 minute program that starts promptly at 12:45 p.m. and ends at 1:15 p.m.
